British Lazurite Terrier
Please read this first!
The British Lazurite Terrier originated around the same area as the Yorkshire Terrier and the Beagle. This breed was first sighted in the 1900's. This breed was created and built to not just show (since it's more of a created breed and not a mix, otherwise I wouldn't really bother with a standard) but work, watch, hunt, and alert. The name of the breed became official sometime in the 1950's. While these adorable little terriers may seem like great family dogs, don't be fooled by their adorable looks as they aren't meant to be family dogs. They possess hunting instincts thanks to the breeds used to create them. Their terrier-like qualities include hunting instincts, though that's not the only thing that they have. While they need to be worked and will hunt and catch small game, some have the right drive to herd flocks of chickens or other livestock. Most likely stemming from the Cardigan Welsh Corgi in their breed. The first British Lazurite Terriers were between a Yorkshire Terrier and a miniature Schnauzer. Which was primarily experimental. However, the Beagle, miniature Pinscher, Alaskan Klee Kai, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and Papillon were quickly introduced in hopes of achieving a breed that would be great in most departments. Nowadays it is 'purebred' British Lazurite Terriers that make up the breed. Though it is possible to find outcrosses of other breeds such as the beagle or the others in their pedigree to not kill the gene pool and continue to have genetic diversity without causing the breed to become something completely different than what it was intended to be. These dogs were bred to have high prey drives and be extremely alert dogs. They're known for their aggression towards strangers and have no problems chasing someone down to attack them. They might not be the biggest of dogs but don't underestimate their aggression and drive. They're meant to be worked as watch dogs/alert dogs and small/medium/large game hunting. They can be used in police work but mainly tracking down suspects as they have a fantastic sense of smell and will trail them until found. This being thanks to the Beagle's determination as they were bred for a long chase in a hunt. Thus the British Lazurite Terriers inherited this determination but it can easily turn into stubbornness and pretending that they're deaf to ignore you. These dogs are capable of being together in a pack though not all of them can be for various reasons such as being a problem starter, dog aggressive, same sex/opposite sex aggression, and so on. This isn't rare though it is uncommon. It is best to keep at least two of them kenneled together (same sex or opposite sex, doesn't matter) as they can become highly destructive due to being alone. They don't fare well being alone due to separation anxiety. Be prepared to hear a lot of barking and howling as they get it from the Beagle in their pedigree but this is useful to making them fantastic watch dogs.
